I read it and loved it. My views don't perfectly coincide with Rand's, but i agree with the general concepts she is trying to get across. The book builds in intensity all the way to the John Galt speech, so i don't know why anyone would skip it.

Only 20 pages into the speech and I have very little patience left. I read the first pages of the book in 1 1/2 months and I've spent 7 months picking the book up every once and a while and reading a couple pages out.
